Landor Training and Parking Review magazine have teamed up with Alpha Parking, one of the leading training providers to the UK parking industry, to offer the parking sector a residential training course that was previously only available to single client teams.

Participants on this course will benefit from enhanced leadership skills and techniques. On completion of the course they will be equipped to raise standards of professionalism and performance in their organisation.

The course will provide existing and potential leaders with:

• a clear definition of their role and working environment and a greater understanding of the challenges of a leadership role
• a thorough understanding of the objectives of a parking department, its different sections and the importance of how they interact
• a toolkit of communication techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of communication with their staff and peers. The course will cover different communication approaches for a variety of different parking environments
• the skills and techniques required for successfully assessing, quantifying and managing staff performance in a parking environment
• effective strategies for motivating parking staff

The residential format of the course offers parking professionals an intensive learning experience that promotes discussion and the sharing of knowledge and experience.

Focused daytime study is complemented by evening activities that encourage networking and further debate.

Course costs:

The course runs over three days, Tuesday to Thursday inclusive. Fees include two nights accommodation (Tuesday and Wednesday nights), all meals and course documentation.
